new lens love

trying out the new 85 mm 1.4. it's a complex lens with such a shallow depth of field but wow--the bokeh is like buttah!

besides--it is, after all, just another excuse to get some portraits of my favorite subjects.

i still have some adjustments to make in learning to use this lens properly but here are some quick captures.

any feedback is more than welcome. i've got a couple of portrait sessions in the next two weeks were i really want to use this lens so please don't be shy! drop me a line!
