About Me

My photo
I am a family, portrait, wedding and lifestyle photographer. The process of making people comfortable with the camera is just as much of a passion for me as is capturing the moment. It is important to me to make the photo session experience a memorable one as well. I know it's a generic statement but I am passionate about life and the urgency to document the moments as they unfold. Take time to invest in the days of your lives. Call me--I can help! I've created a "book of days" gallery on my website: www.mbgpics.com where I do that for my own life. Hopefully it showcases who I am as a person as well as as a photographer.

MHP Trash the Dress Workshop

Last week I was in absolute heaven during the Mile High Photographer's Trash the Wedding Dress Workshop. Thanks to all who were in charge of coordinating all of the details. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better time or a better day--the light was perfect. Heck--it was perfect from start to finish.

First, I want to thank our fantastic instructors, Jared Wilson, James Christianson, and RJ Kern for volunteering so much of their time to share their knowledge with all those of us who were lucky enough to particpate. Thanks too for Jessica Bergthold, Shappen Kapple and all those I am forgetting who put this amazing workshop together.

The hair and make-up from the shoot was provided by Paris Sinclair. Boulder Blooms generously provided the gorgeous bridal bouquets, and Ghost Town Disc Golf for providing us a fantastic location.

And since I am not much of a writer or very good with the details of all of those who should be properly thanked for their tremendous efforts--I'd shut up now. Here are some images from the day! Images, after all, speak so much louder than words don't they?
