i had the most amazing time on saturday during "illuminate photography's" night photo walk. i learned to use my cable release and to calculate the proper shutter speeds for long exposures. and i was so impressed with the quality of the d 700's images. it was absolutely invigorating to be with people passionate about photography and so knowledgeable as well. it was, hands down, the best learning (although very humbling) experience i have ever had.
i can't wait until next month's photo walk.

Oh, what fun! Glad you're enjoying the new cam! Love that first shot, especially. A monthly photo walk sounds like an awesome opportunity!
